At IFSA-Butler Ireland, we pride ourselves on our Student Services. We have a wide range of experience that will help you to make the most of your study abroad experience in Ireland. Our staff have travelled extensively so we know what it is like to be in unfamiliar territory – and how to make the most of every minute of it!

We are here for you from the moment you land on Irish soil until you the day you leave our shores (and even after!). There is no question too small or any favour too big to ask us. We have helped students with all sorts of problems and dilemmas and we very much enjoy our work.

‘Cead Míle Fáilte!’ When stepping off a long-haul flight, we know how much it means to be welcomed with a smile. We will bring you to a city centre hotel for your first ‘Irish Breakfast’, followed by a day to relax and a ‘Welcome Meal’ that evening. A lovely introduction to Ireland!

We like to ease or students in to life in Ireland with our two day orientation. The orientation covers all the basics about living and studying here, plus more. Sessions include showing you how to cook, teaching you how to pour a pint of Guinness and developing your awareness of personal safely. Night and day, we are here for you when you need us. All our students are given our 24 emergency contact number to use in the very unlikely event of something going seriously wrong. We endeavour to get a positive outcome to all problems as quickly as possible.

Our e-news will keep you up to date with the latest events and current events. It’ll also give you a heads-up for any upcoming trips. Our blogs are also a great way to hear what fellow students and our staff are up to. We update our Facebook and Twitter pages regularly and we will send you the odd text there and there too!

We are happy to liaise with your host school for you. Although we encourage all our students to be as independent as possible, we know that sometimes things crop up that you’d like us to help with.

When Orientation is over, we take you to your new housing and see that you get settled in. All the accommodation we use is within walking distance to your university and is of a high standard and has Internet connection. We take the hassle out of finding a home so you can get on with planning the house-warming party!

Our weekends away are what set us apart. Each trip we run two trips that are included in your programme fee.
